I have sent my 1099-A with a letter directing them how to file the 1099-A and sent it off to the United States Treasury. They are refusing to file. I have them on record with the Postal Rule and registered mail green card. Has anyone else had problems with the Trustree not wanting to file. They have said a 1099-A is not a form of payment. He got very frustrated rated with me while I was explaining. If they decide to accept shouldn't I receive the the copy B back?
