How would I go by getting my student loans paid? Would it be the same way when using the 1099a or should I cancel by using 1099c and what other forms would go with it 1099a or 1099c?
Would I be submitting the forms as a debt for the student loans and recouping the funds? How would that work?

I have most of mine through Nelnet, just under $80,000. Just out of curiosity, I looked at the statement and BOOM!! There's a coupon associated with it! I am going to try that method first, downloaded and printed it out.
